Founded in 1941, the NSCAA is an organization of soccer coaches and others who wish to ally themselves with the organization's mission, which is to educate coaches, encourage excellence and serve the soccer community. Embracing both genders and all levels of the game, the NSCAA has grown into the world's largest coaching organization.
NSCAA membership is open to anyone who meet the requirements and qualifications set forth in the organization's constitution and by-laws. The Board of Directors is comprised of the president, three vice presidents, the secretary, the immediate past president, representatives of each NSCAA constituency group and two at-large representatives. The Executive Director also serves in a non-voting capacity. A network of Regional Technical Directors provides the framework for interested parties to arrange NSCAA Coaching Academy courses, regional clinics and special topic courses.
