Encouraging Excellence
The NSCAA encourages excellence through a broad-ranging awards and recognition program. These include the NSCAA National Rankings program for intercollegiate and interscholastic play and an awards program that spotlights the achievements of coaches and players at the youth, high school and college levels.

The NSCAA National and Regional Rankings are the most widely recognized national and regional soccer ranking systems in the country. The ranking program is aimed to stimulate greater interest in men's and women's soccer at the intercollegiate and interscholastic levels. The rankings track the week-to-week status of qualified programs in both college and high school. All rankings are updated every Tuesday at noon Central Time.

Players and coaches who excel are given due recognition through the NSCAA's award programs. Among the recognitions given are for the Coach of the Year, All-America at the Youth, High School and College levels, Player of the Year and the Missouri Athletic Club's Hermann Trophy, the highest individual award presented in intercollegiate soccer.

The latest schedules and scores in intercollegiate soccer is available online through the NSCAA’s College Scoreboard. The Scoreboard is kept up to date by a network of thousands of volunteers across the country.

For high school schedules and scores, the NSCAA has partnered with Eurosport and Soccer Information Systems to bring you the Eurosport High School Scoreboard. Similar to the college scoreboard, this is likewise maintained by volunteers throughout the United States.

The climax of the NSCAA Awards Program comes at the annual NSCAA Convention, where a number of the awards are announced. The run-down of each Convention is shared with NSCAA members and the public through the Post-Convention Soccer Journal, which is presented exclusively online.
