NSCAA Mourns the Passing of Charlotte Moran
Charlotte Moran, the executive director of the Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association and the Youth Girls Representative on the NSCAA Board of Directors, passed away Sunday evening, May 17. She had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in November 2007.

Moran was elected Youth Girls' Representative of the NSCAA in January 2008. The executive director of the Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association, she had been involved in youth soccer for nearly 30 years, beginning at the grassroots level as a team manager and secretary of a local youth club. The US Youth Soccer Region I Girls’ ODP Administrator since 1997, she had served as the national ODP chair for the past four years. A member of the NSCAA Women’s Committee, she was elected to the NSCAA Board of Directors in January 2008. She received the Women’s Committee Award of Excellence in 2008 and the Youth Long-Term Service Award at the 2009 NSCAA Convention in St. Louis.

At Charlotte's request, there will be no visitation or viewing at the funeral home. A Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 26, at St. Bede the Venerable Parish, 1071 Holland Road, Holland, Pa. Click here for directions. Immediately following Mass, all friends are invited to attend a luncheon at Vereinigung Erzgebirge Soccer Club,
